CloudPassage Halo — 2 May 2017
Hotfix Release Notes
The 2 May 2017 hotfix release of CloudPassage® Halo® includes fixes for inconsistencies in the Halo portal displays for SAM and issues, plus restoration of missing elements in search filters and event text.
Search filter on Scans view is now persistent
Previously, when a user applied a filter in the Scans view, clicked on a filter result to see the scan details, and then navigated back to the Scans view, the filter that had been applied was deleted. This issue has been fixed.
Username no longer missing in "Issue Resolved" event
Previously if a user manually resolved an issue in the Issues view, then searched (on the Server Events History page) for the "Issue Resolved" event generated from that action, the username of the resolving user could be missing from the "resolved by" phrase in the event text. This omission has been corrected.
Resolved issues count in portal now matches that in exported CSV
Previously, when exporting resolved issues to a CSV file, the total number of issues in the exported file may not have matched the total number of issues that were displayed in Halo. This inconsistency has been fixed.
Complete filter attributes now available in Linux Scans view
Previously, after launching a SAM scan for a Linux server, the SAM scans view did not display the Active and Locked filter attributes in the filter drop-down list. This omission has been fixed.
Timestamps for Self-Verification field now consistent
Previously, when comparing a “Self verification failed” issue timestamp with the Self-Verification field on the server summary, the timestamps may not have been the same. This inconsistency has been fixed.
PDF export of SAM scan now displays correct account permissions
Previously, when exporting a Windows SAM scan to a SAM report, the exported PDF displayed “root” permissions instead of “admin” permissions in the summary. This error has been fixed.
