CloudPassage Halo — 28 October 2013 Release
New Features and Fixes
The 28 October 2013 Release of CloudPassage® Halo® is a minor release that includes a number of bug fixes and functional improvements.
Repeat SMS login no longer required of GhostPorts-only users
Intermittently, when a GhostPorts-only user logged into the Halo Portal with SMS-based two-factor authentication in order to open GhostPorts, the user would be immediately returned to the login page and would have to authenticate again. The issue has been corrected.
Configuration File Setting check supports blank "Desired value" field
The Configuration File Setting check now allows a completely blank (empty) value in the "Desired value" field. It will match (pass) in a situation in which the configuration file also has an empty value for that field.
Editing a local server user's password settings now functions correctly
In editing a local server user's password through server account management, setting the field "New passwords must be used for N days" to zero was causing an error. The field now properly accepts a value of 0, which means that a new password can be changed again immediately, if desired.
Security Events History search returns all event types if none selected
On the Security Events History page, by default no event types are selected. A user running a search without explicitly selecting any event types would get no results. The default behavior has been changed, so that selecting no event types is now the same as selecting all of them—all event types are returned.
