Rule Check: File Presence (Windows)
The File Presence check for Windows verifies the presence (or absence) of one or more files on a scanned Windows server. To check for the presence of a directory, use the Directory Presence (Windows) check instead.
The full path to the file to look for. Any valid, full path to a single file, or a comma-delimited list of file paths is acceptable. A path may include a Windows system environment variable, using the format
Note: The asterisk (*) is the only acceptable wildcard character. You cannot use a question mark.
Important: Every target filename (other than a symbolic link) must include the file extension.
